What's Investment?
In a nutshell, Investment is fund-raising for missions. Participation in fund-raising projects is what makes the Investment offering unique. Investment for Missions became an official part of Seventh-day Adventist Sabbath School offerings in 1925. Anyone from toddlers to retirees may participate.Giving an Investment offering is NOT merely digging deeper into one's pockets or shifting donations from one worthy project to another. It IS an opportunity to be creative, maybe even test those entrepreneurial skills, in order to help advance the spread of the Gospel. When we participate in Investment, we enter into a working partnership with God. We offer our faith, dedication and hard work, while He blesses our efforts and supplies the increase. |
